The U.S. District Court, will never call or text to request payment of fines.

The District Court of Alaska has seen an increase in reported fraud schemes targeting Alaskans through unsolicited text messages in which scammers impersonate government officials or agencies to extort money or steal personally identifiable information. In some instances, legal action is threatened through the court system, others relate to tickets or fines through other agencies.
