Some courtrooms in Anchorage and Fairbanks utilize a Digital Evidence Presentation System (DEPS) to facilitate the presentation of digital evidence quickly and efficiently.
The United States District Court for the District of Alaska (USDC) is pleased to announce new Digital Evidence Presentation System (DEPS) training opportunities. Beginning May 2017, the District of Alaska is offering monthly DEPS training sessions. These trainings provide an opportunity to test your equipment compatibility, prepare for an upcoming hearing or trial, or sharpen existing DEPS skills. Parties wishing to participate telephonically must make a motion pursuant
to Local Civil Rule 7.3. If a motion for telephonic participation is
granted, the court will inform the parties of the “Meet Me Bridge”
telephone number prior to the hearing. Participants must call the “Meet Me
Bridge” telephone number not less than 5 minutes before the scheduled
hearing time. During the hearing, speakers should identify themselves each
time they speak.
