Beginning May 7, 2025, the REAL ID Act (“Act”) will restrict access to certain federal buildings; however, the Act contains an exception for public access to court proceedings and services. Therefore, while an acceptable form of identification is required to be shown at courthouse entry, a REAL ID card is not required to enter the federal courthouses in our District.
