DEPS

Some courtrooms in Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Juneau utilize a Digital Evidence Presentation System (DEPS) to facilitate the presentation of digital evidence quickly and efficiently.

The United States District Court for the District of Alaska (USDC) is pleased to announce new Digital Evidence Presentation System (DEPS) training opportunities.

The District of Alaska offers monthly DEPS training sessions.  These trainings provide an opportunity to test your equipment compatibility, prepare for an upcoming hearing or trial, or sharpen existing DEPS skills. Please refer to Local Civil Rule 7.1(i) and our website for additional DEPS information.  Please contact the assigned judges DQA to setup training.

Telephonic Participation

Parties wishing to participate telephonically must make a motion pursuant to Local Civil Rule 7.3. If a motion for telephonic participation is granted, the court will inform the parties of the conference telephone number prior to the hearing. Participants must call the conference number not less than 5 minutes before the scheduled hearing time. During the hearing, speakers should identify themselves each time they speak.

Wireless Internet Access

The United States District Court for the District of Alaska (Anchorage) is pleased to announce that free wireless public internet access is now available to persons doing business with the court.
