The District of Alaska has put into place COVID-19 safety protocol in order to protect the health and safety of litigants, court personnel and the public. Individual judges may also require additional safety protocol if a judge determines additional safety measures are warranted. While the District of Alaska safety protocol do not presently require counsel and litigants appearing in court be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, judges may limit in person proceedings only to counsel and parties who are fully vaccinated. In those cases the judge will issue an Order so informing the parties. Unvaccinated counsel and parties may request virtual participation.
